Ryoto* is an artist who grew up in Tokyo.

While studying medicine and moving forward with the dream to become a doctor,

he is also involved in many design projects and holds his own exhibitions.

His first encounter with design goes back to when he was in high school.

He began to be attracted to the idea of expressing something when he was involved in the design and modeling of a school festival.

Then, due to the spread of the coronavirus, he had more time to work on something.

His design activities began to accelerate.

Ryoto* is not just a designer who draws what he is asked to draw.

This is the true value of his design.

The value of his designs is critical thinking.

He expresses his critical thinking in words and incorporates them into his designs.

When designing something in response to a request from his customers,

he gains a deep insight into the client’s values and ideas, trying to combine them with his own values.

His characteristic is to construct a designable system with his critical words.

Many people who go into the field of medical science end up becoming a doctor.

However, he tries to make his life a challenge to the newly established fields of both medicine and art.

Based on his unique philosophy, he will pursue the possibilities of new medicine and art.
